About Us

Our Story

Growing up, there were certain things in every Pakistani kitchen that just were. The wooden mortar and pestle. The chopping board worn smooth from years of use. The spoons your mother reached for without thinking. Nobody talked about them — they didn't need to. They were just there, doing their job, long after everything else had been replaced.

That's where Pure Woodique started — not with a business plan, but with a feeling. A quiet realisation that the things we grew up with, made by hand from real wood, were slowly being swapped out for plastic. Cheaper. Lighter. Throwaway. And something was being lost with them — not just quality, but a kind of care.

The hardest part of building this brand isn't sourcing or shipping. It's convincing people online — without being able to hand them the piece — that what we make is genuinely different. That when they feel the weight of a sheesham board, or run a hand along a bowl's grain, they'll know. And they always do.

Our karigar have been working with wood for generations. Their skills are real, their craft is real, and we believe it deserves to last. Every piece we make is our small effort to make sure it does.

We work with sheesham and rosewood — two of Pakistan's finest hardwoods — to make things for the kitchen that are built to last. Cutting boards, serving sets, mortar and pestles, spoon sets, honey jars. Each piece is finished by hand and oiled before it leaves us.

If you've ever wanted to bring something real back into your kitchen, this is where to start.
