How to Use

  1. Clean and dry the wood surface thoroughly.
  2. Apply a generous amount of mineral oil using a soft cloth.
  3. Spread evenly across the surface.
  4. Allow the oil to soak in for several hours or overnight.
  5. Wipe away excess oil with a clean cloth.
  6. Reapply regularly when the wood appears dry.

Food-grade mineral oil is commonly used for conditioning wooden kitchenware and butcher blocks because it penetrates the wood and helps prevent drying and cracking

How to Care for Your Piece

Wash by hand — Never put wooden kitchenware in the dishwasher. Wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately.

Oil regularly — Apply food-safe mineral oil or coconut oil every few weeks to keep the wood nourished and prevent cracking.

Avoid soaking — Do not leave your piece submerged in water. Prolonged moisture causes warping.

Keep away from direct heat — Keep away from stovetop flames, direct sunlight, and microwaves.

Sand lightly if needed — If the surface feels rough over time, a light sand with fine-grit sandpaper followed by oiling will restore it.
